About The Position

The Nurse Assistant performs routine duties within the limits of training and certification in caring for the hospitalized patient. The care is rendered under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. Performs other duties related to the work described herein.

Requirements

• High School Diploma, GED or Equivalent.
• Completion of an approved nursing assistant course preferred.
• CPR/BLS
• Nursing Assistant or Medical Assistant, or equivalent training.
• Basic Life Support required within 2 weeks of hire.
• Thereafter, must maintain.
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or American Red Cross BLS for Healthcare Providers certification is required.

Nice To Haves

• Completion of an approved nursing assistant course preferred.
