About The Position

The position is within the Marwood Nursing and Rehab department, focusing on the effective implementation, monitoring, and documentation of Restorative Nursing Programs. The role involves close collaboration with the Clinical Manager and the Restorative Nurse Coordinator.

Requirements

• Current State Certified Nursing Assistant.
• High School Diploma/GED

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating.
• Perform and assist with passive and active range of motion exercises.
• Manage and document splint, brace, cast, and wheelchair positioning programs.
• Support and guide bed mobility training and practice.
• Facilitate participation in the restorative walking program.
• Initiate Bowel and Bladder assessments in accordance with care protocols.
• Conduct falls risk assessments in collaboration with the Restorative Nurse.
• Initiate, review, and update Restorative Care Plans based on patient needs and progress.
• Carry out additional restorative nursing programs as assigned by the Restorative.
