This position is for a Nurse Assistant I in the Nursing Med Surg: 7 Reynolds Cardiology Department at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. The role involves participating in the implementation of the nursing process by providing direct patient care under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN), performing special procedures, and maintaining a safe and therapeutic environment. The Nurse Assistant I is expected to communicate effectively with the team, co-workers, patients, and family members, and take personal responsibility for performance and professional growth. The role also requires providing age/developmental appropriate patient care.
