About The Position

The Nurse Apprentice position at Mountain View Health and Rehabilitation Center is designed for LPN and RN students currently in their clinical rotation phase. Requirements

• Currently enrolled in an accredited LPN or RN program, with clinical rotation experience
• Must be in good standing with your educational institution
• Ability to follow directions and work well under supervision
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Flexibility in scheduling to meet clinical hour requirements

Responsibilities

• Assist in delivering direct patient care under the supervision of licensed nursing staff
• Perform basic nursing skills such as taking vital signs, administering medications (if permitted), and assisting with activities of daily living
• Support patient mobility, hygiene, and comfort measures
• Document patient information accurately and promptly in medical records
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team
• Adhere to facility protocols, policies, and procedures
• Participate in team meetings and training sessions to further develop clinical skills
• Follow infection control guidelines and ensure patient safety at all times
