About The Position

The Nurse Apprentice position at Mallory Crisis Center is a per diem role designed for individuals currently enrolled in a pre-licensure Registered Nurse (RN) program in Nevada. The Apprentice Nurse works under the supervision of a Registered Nurse Preceptor, providing nursing care and gaining practical experience in a clinical setting. This role allows nursing students to practice their skills and transition into the responsibilities of a licensed nurse as they progress through their education.

Requirements

• Current enrollment in a Nevada nursing program with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• Original evidence of current enrollment by official school transcript.
• Current AHA Basic Life Support Certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse Preceptor.
• Follow the Nevada State Board of Nursing approved Apprentice Nurse skills list.
