About The Position

Desert View Hospital, located in Pahrump, NV, is a critical access hospital that has provided high-quality healthcare to residents of Nye County for over ten years. The hospital offers a range of dedicated services, including emergency care, physical therapy, wound care, radiology, surgery, a 24-hour laboratory, and cardiopulmonary care. The position is responsible for performing patient care/service activities/procedures as outlined by the state board of nursing and within the Nevada Nurse Practice Act, under the supervision of licensed nursing staff.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in an accredited nursing program and has completed at least the first semester of the nursing program.
• Current BLS Certification from the AHA.
• Must provide the most current competency check-off list from their school to their supervising manager and maintain current competencies.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a healthcare setting is preferred.

Responsibilities
