Requirements

• A minimum of a Master's degree in advanced nursing practice is required.
• Current and clear license as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) in the State of Florida.
• Certified in Basic Cardiac Life Support.
• Must meet requirements set forth by the Medical Staff Office to obtain and retain privileges to practice as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist within UF Health Shands Hospital and/or the Shands UF Healthcare Network.
• Must successfully pass an AHCA Level 2 screening for this position.

Responsibilities

• Manage patients under the supervision of anesthesiologists before, during, and after surgery.
