About The Position

Sprenger Health Care is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) to join their healthcare team. In this role, you will provide essential care and support to patients, promoting their well-being and ensuring their comfort. Responsibilities include assisting with daily activities, monitoring vital signs, and maintaining a clean and safe environment. The company is a third-generation developer, owner, and operator of senior living communities and services in Ohio and South Carolina, offering long-term nursing care, assisted and independent living, memory care, hospice, home care, respite care, and short-term post-acute rehabilitation across nearly 2,000 beds.

Requirements

Valid certification as a Certified Nurse Aide (CNA)
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
Compassionate and empathetic nature

Responsibilities

Assist patients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
Monitor and record vital signs, including temperature, blood pressure, and pulse
Support patients in their mobility and ensure their safety during transfers
Provide emotional support and companionship to patients
Follow established care plans and instructions from healthcare professionals
Maintain a clean and organized patient environment, including regular infection control measures
Document patient observations, activities, and any changes in condition
Communicate effectively with patients and their families, ensuring clear understanding of care instructions and answering any questions they may have
Adhere to all relevant health and safety regulations and protocols
