About The Position
At American Senior Communities, the Nurse Aide in Training position is designed to provide person-centered care to residents while allowing individuals to earn their Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) certification. This role is part of ASC's Nurse Aide Training program, which is a paid job opportunity open to anyone interested in pursuing a career in nursing. The program requires no prior work experience and includes 30 hours of classroom instruction and 75 hours of hands-on clinical training. Upon successful completion of the CNA program, participants will have access to various pathways and opportunities to advance their nursing careers. The Nurse Aide in Training will engage in a variety of responsibilities that contribute to the well-being and comfort of residents. This includes assisting with daily living activities, maintaining cleanliness in the unit, and ensuring that residents receive the necessary support during their stay. The position emphasizes teamwork, regular attendance, and adherence to safety and privacy protocols, including the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required by health standards. The role is crucial in fostering a supportive environment for residents and ensuring that their needs are met with compassion and care.
