About The Position

Prometric is seeking experienced Registered Nurses to serve as Nurse Aide Evaluators, responsible for administering the Certified Nursing Aide (CNA) Exam. This part-time role allows RNs to leverage their skills outside of the hospital setting by evaluating candidates pursuing their CNA certification, ensuring a high-quality testing experience consistent with the company's mission and values.

Requirements

• Active and unrestricted RN license in the state of operation.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• One year of experience in long-term care or caring for the chronically ill.
• Intermediate to advanced technical skills with computer programs (MS Office, Outlook, etc.).
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Valid driver's license and vehicle for travel to test events.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in staff development and/or training.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate candidate skills during the CNA exam.
• Proctor a computerized knowledge-based examination.
• Observe and score candidates demonstrating clinical skills.
• Prepare for test events by monitoring rosters and ensuring site setup.
• Control the test area by maintaining knowledge of Prometric policies.
• Greet examinees and verify their identification.
• Monitor candidates during their written exam and manage the testing environment.
• Resolve candidate issues or report them to the appropriate supervisor.
• Protect exam content through administering computer-based testing.
• Report occurrences that fall outside company guidelines.
