Nurse Aide Adjunct Instructor

About the position

The Nurse Aide Training Program is seeking an Adjunct Instructor for two separate 8-week summer sessions. The first session is a day course running from May 22, 2023, to July 24, 2023, with classes held Monday through Thursday from 8:00 AM to 2:40 PM, totaling approximately 142 hours. The second session is an afternoon course during the same dates, with classes held Monday through Thursday from 3:00 PM to 9:40 PM, totaling approximately 112 hours.

Requirements

• The applicant must be a registered nurse with an unencumbered license.
• The applicant must be licensed to practice in North Carolina.
• The applicant must have at least two (2) years (4000 hours) of experience as a registered nurse in the United States.
• The applicant must meet at least one of the following: completion of a course in teaching adults, experience in teaching adults, or experience in supervising nurse aides.
