About The Position
Work required knowledge of theories, principles, and concepts normally acquired through completion of a Master's degree in Nursing or closely related and three to five years of previous work-related experience. Licensure required as a Registered Nurse by the State of New Jersey. Shifts are Monday - Friday, 8 AM - 4 PM Responsibilities Effective January 2019, St. Joseph’s Health requires all employee certifications for Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) to be granted through the American Heart Association.
Requirements
- Lifting objects weighting more than 100 pounds.
- Standing for more than two hours at a time.
- Stooping or bending
- Manual dexterity - reach and grasp objects
- Color vision - the ability to identify and distinguish colors
- Ability to hear and communicate orally
- Proofreading and checking documents for accuracy
- Using a keyboard to enter and transform words or data
