About The Position

Centurion is proud to be the provider of mental health services to the Georgia Department of Corrections. We are currently seeking a full-time RN Administrator (Active RN license required) to join our team at Metro Reinvestment Center in Atlanta, GA. Shift: Full-time | Day| Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM -4:30 PM (no weekends) Yearly salary: $101K The RN Administrator is responsible for providing shift leadership and administrative oversight while also delivering direct patient care in a correctional setting. This role requires a strong clinical foundation, excellent assessment skills, and the ability to lead audit preparation and maintain compliance standards.

Requirements

  • Must be licensed as an RN within the state of Georgia
  • Minimum of 5 years of RN experience, including leadership experience
  • Must be strong in patient assessments and administrative skills
  • Audit preparation and audit experience required
  • This position requires floor work in addition to administrative responsibilities

Nice To Haves

  • Preferred background in healthcare administration, nurse management, nursing home administration, mental health administration, or management in a multi-specialty healthcare clinic
  • Correctional healthcare experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Supervise nursing and support staff on the assigned shift
  • Provide direct and indirect nursing care to patients, including completing thorough assessments and responding to clinical needs
  • Independently manage audit preparation, including documentation readiness, tracking, corrective action follow-up, and ensuring compliance with facility and regulatory standards
  • Perform administrative responsibilities such as documentation oversight, reporting, coordination of shift operations, and follow-up on identified issues
  • Work under the direction of the Health Service Administrator
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to identify and respond to a wide range of physical and behavioral health needs
  • Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with staff and institutional leadership
  • Ability to obtain security clearance, including drug screen and criminal background check
