About The Position
Centurion is proud to be the provider of mental health services to the Georgia Department of Corrections. We are currently seeking a full-time, RN Administrator (Active RN license required) to join our team at Emanuel PDC (Twin City, GA). The RN Administrator is responsible for providing supervision of nursing and support staff on the assigned shift in a correctional setting.
Requirements
- Must be licensed as an RN within the state of Georgia
- Experience as a healthcare, nursing home, or mental health administrator, nurse manager, or management experience in a multi-specialty healthcare clinic
- Must have ability to effectively communicate in writing and orally with staff and institutional administration
- Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
Nice To Haves
- Experience in correctional environment preferred
Responsibilities
- Providing direct and indirect nursing care to patients
- Working under the direction of the Health Service Administrator
- Collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team to identify and respond to a wide range of physical and behavioral health need
