About The Position

Numerical Control Programmer - Machining/Tooling (Mid-Level or Senior) Company: The Boeing Company Boeing Commercial Airplanes is looking to hire a Mid-Level or Senior Numerical Control Programmer to support our fabrication team located in Auburn, WA . Selected candidates will provide numerical control, machining and programming technical expertise. They will create, verify and revise Machine Control Data (MCD), geometry and documentation that directs the operations for a complete spectrum of numerically controlled multi-axis machines required to manufacture aerospace components. The Ideal candidate will thrive in a collaborative team environment and be comfortable handling a product line from Engineering concept, NC programming, troubleshooting and final execution on the shop floor. Primary Responsibilities: Provides numerical control, machining, and programming technical experience to the Auburn Fabrication Team Plans, creates, verifies, and revises Machine Control Data (MCD), geometry, and documentation that directs the operations for a complete spectrum of numerically controlled machinery (primarily metals machining) Works under general direction Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience): 3 or more years NC programming experience Ability to read, understand, and interpret engineering drawings Preferred qualifications: CATIA V5 NC Programming 5 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience Drug Free Workplace: Boeing is a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies.
