About The Position

Boeing Commercial Airplanes is looking to hire Associate and Mid-Level Numerical Control Programmers to support our tool fabrication team located in Portland, OR. Selected candidates will write NC programs in Catia for multi-axis machines to fabricate aerospace components from aluminum, steel, titanium, and other metals.

Requirements

• 1 or more years NC programming experience
• Ability to read, understand, and interpret engineering drawings

Nice To Haves

• 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• 3 or more years NC programming experience

Responsibilities

• Provides numerical control, machining, and programming technical experience to the Auburn Tool Fabrication Team
• Establishes technical requirements for manufacturing and producibility of precision tools
• Plans, creates, verifies, and revises Machine Control Data (MCD), geometry, and documentation that directs the operations for a complete spectrum of numerically controlled machinery (primarily metals machining)
• Works under general direction
