Join Numeric's Investment Management Graduate Rotational Program as a Numeric Quantitative Rotational Analyst, where you will have the unique opportunity to work alongside various teams including Quant Trading, Alpha Technology, Quantitative Research, and Portfolio Management. This program consists of four rotations, after which you may have the chance to join one of the teams full-time, specifically in Numeric Research, Alternatives, or Portfolio Management. As a Quantitative Research Rotational Analyst, your primary responsibility will be to conduct research and develop strategies aimed at enhancing our trading capabilities in financial markets, particularly in equities. You will be tasked with improving quantitative investment strategies within the Strategic Alpha Research team, collaborating closely with team members to create and support existing strategies by identifying innovative investment ideas and data sources. Your research will encompass various implementation aspects of investment strategies, including trading cost models, risk models, optimization, and portfolio construction. In the Portfolio Management Rotational Analyst role, you will engage in a wide range of research, investment, and technical tasks. This includes validating model inputs and outputs from quantitative signals that inform buy/sell decisions. You will monitor portfolio risk and exposures, analyze returns, and conduct analyses for client communications. Additionally, you will ensure the integrity of our investment philosophy by analyzing the output of our portfolio construction process and assisting research and portfolio management teams in enhancing existing signals and creating new ones. Your role will also involve working with the Quant Trading & Research team, where you will assist in the development of our trading platform and technology infrastructure. You will utilize both qualitative and quantitative analyses to improve the performance of our systematic strategies, monitor live trading, and respond to market changes. Furthermore, you will analyze high-frequency tick data from multiple exchanges and assist in building execution alpha signals using various data types. As a Quantitative Developer Rotational Analyst in Alpha Tech, you will collaborate directly with research and portfolio management teams to implement new ideas and signals that aim to outperform the market. This includes maintaining the success of Raptor, our in-house Quant Platform, and developing the necessary tools, frameworks, libraries, and applications that support our Quantitative Research and Systematic Trading efforts. Your challenges will be diverse, involving the implementation of signals, analysis of new datasets, and development of portfolio optimization toolkits.
