A Nuclear Turbine Maintenance Technician is a competent, skilled mechanic in all aspects of nuclear plant mechanical maintenance. Work performed requires a broad knowledge of plant mechanical maintenance fundamentals and ability to function as part of a team while performing high quality preventive and corrective maintenance on nuclear plant equipment in order to maintain optimum levels of equipment reliability. Work activities include performing disassembly/reassembly of large steam turbines, electrical generators, and other plant equipment, as well as rigging and crane operation activities.
