This instructor position is responsible to conduct classroom and hands on training of cleanliness requirements for nuclear propulsion plant maintenance and construction. This will include, but is not limited to, Commercial Cleanliness, Steam Plant Cleanliness and Reactor Plant Cleanliness (Grade “A”). The selected candidate will be required to follow approved lesson plans, perform examinations and evaluations of student performance, and provide documentation via written certification or computer database entry. Other duties include the development of training packages, participation in training exercises (drills), and conducting deckplate observations to validate training applicability. Applicant will be expected to: Qualify as a Nuclear Trade Training Instructor. Maintain all applicable cleanliness qualifications. Pass applicable exams with ≥ 80%. Conduct class lessons per curriculum. Administer written and practical examinations. Conduct Deckplate Observations. Act as the subject matter expert (SME) for curriculum development. Mentor and coach, share lessons learned with other instructors. Recommend changes to improve areas of safety, quality, cost, schedule, and continuous improvement. Shift: 1st (some flex support to 2nd and 3rd)
