About The Position

The Nuclear Security Officer (NSO) at Plant Hatch is responsible for maintaining the safety and security of personnel and nuclear reactor systems in a high-security environment. This role requires a high level of mental and physical readiness to effectively deter and respond to potential threats. The NSO will work under the supervision of the Shift Lieutenant and will be involved in various security activities to ensure the integrity of the facility.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED
• Two (2) years law enforcement, military, corrections facility, or armed security experience desired
• Previous nuclear security experience desired
• Current knowledge of security technology
• Basic computer skills
• Experience in dealing with regulations and procedures
