About The Position
Edgewater Technical Associates is seeking qualified candidates for a Nuclear Safety Engineer opportunity to join our nationwide team. The role involves supporting operations and project activities as matrixed technical support staff, providing the Nuclear Safety Manager with Safety Basis expertise and counsel on those activities. Responsibilities include preparation and maintenance of facility Safety Basis documents, performance of hazard and accident analysis, ensuring technical compliance with regulations, and engaging with DOE site office representatives. The position also includes mentoring staff, developing documentation for safety analysis, and providing technical support for emergency preparedness.
