Nuclear Project Scheduler
About The Position
We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Project Scheduler to support our Project Management Office. The Project Scheduler will be responsible to develop and maintain project schedules and activities for a large capital project involving power plant delivery. This is a part time, remote, 1099 independent contractor role without benefits. Compensation is determined by experience, technical expertise, and level of responsibility. Hourly rate of $95-$102/hr Waymaker Resource Group is committed to fair and equitable compensation and considers internal alignment, market data, and candidate experience when determining rates.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a scheduler utilizing Primavera P6
- Experience within the commercial nuclear power industry
- Ability to gain unescorted access at US nuclear, DOE and DOD sites
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules
- Coordinate with project teams to schedule and track activities
- Schedule activities to minimize downtime and optimize efficiency and safety and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Communicate with project team in a professional, technically competent manner
- Track deadlines, action items, and deliverables
- Maintain shared documents and drive organization through consistent digital file management.
