Work Place Flexibility: Onsite Legal Entity: Entergy Operations, Inc.-EOI Job Duties/Responsibilities Safety/Human Performance: Actively promote strong safety behaviors and ensure the team always puts safety first; Utilize key tools, programs, and proactive field visits to ensure standards and behaviors; Monitor and influence suppliers to proactively identify any safety concerns. Incident Response: Perform emergency role duties as assigned through the Storm Assignment Management System (SAMS) and/or the nuclear Emergency Response Organization (ERO). Process and Reporting Compliance: Ensure all requirements for savings, diversity, document retention, and other areas of compliance are met. Work Processes: Complete/maintain qualification and perform assigned emergency response role: If work location is a nuclear plant site, employee will be assigned an Emergency Response Organization role (i.e., “ERO” assignment); If work location is Headquarters (HQN), employee may be assigned a Storm Response role; Perform assigned general tasks to support PES team (e.g., administration, scheduling, meeting organization, performance metrics, etc.); Perform as team member on special projects as assigned (e.g., root cause analysis, resolution of significant issues, etc.); (Post qualification): Act as on-call PES (rotational); Screen PE Evaluation requests, obtain additional information as required and determine type of PE Evaluation (i.e., Root Cause) required; Research relevant documentation resources (drawings, calculations, specifications, etc.) to determine relevant requirements and specifications for procurement of item or service; Perform PE Evaluation including all requirements and document disposition (i.e., conclusions) in required format and understandable to another qualified PES; Working with Procurement Specialists, Receipt Inspector and the chosen vendor, resolve PES-related vendor exceptions to the Purchase Order; Upon request, work with Contract Specialists and Contract Manager, resolve PES-related quality requirement issues during the contract development/award process (for services); Capture and document cost-savings/efficiency-improvement opportunities identified during the PE Evaluation process. Value Creation: Complete basic PE Evals that ensure appropriate technical and quality requirements are included in all related Purchase Orders (i.e., used for procurement of materials and parts). Complete PE Evals for Item Equivalency Evaluations (IEEs), as applicable to procedures, that ensure alternate replacement items are technically evaluated for use in systems or components. Complete PE Evals for Commercial Grade Dedication (CGD), as applicable to procedures, that authorize the use of commercially procured items in Safety-Related applications through the use of the commercial grade dedication process. Partnership/Relationships: Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure PE is addressing needs proactively and in the most beneficial way for Entergy; Establish/maintain professional relationships with suppliers/partners, based on the highest ethical business practices in the Standards of Conduct and Integrity, and Entergy's Supply Chain Policies. Communications: Aware of role as a Procurement Engineering point of contact with stakeholders; Maintain open communications between stakeholders and within Supply Chain to ensure that prompt, accurate, and complete information is provided.
