About The Position

The Nuclear Procurement Engineer position at PSEG, NJ is a one-year contract role focused on developing and implementing procurement strategies for nuclear equipment, materials, and services. The role ensures compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards while collaborating with teams to prioritize procurement needs and develop technical specifications for nuclear-related purchases. The engineer will conduct technical evaluations of vendor proposals and maintain relationships with nuclear vendors to ensure the delivery of high-quality products and services.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in nuclear procurement, engineering, or a related field.
• Knowledge of nuclear industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
• Experience with procurement software, such as ERP and e-procurement platforms.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, diagrams, and specifications.
• Certification in a relevant field, such as engineering or procurement (e.g. PE, CPM).
