The Nuclear Pharmacy Technician supports BAMF Health’s mission to provide high-quality and novel radiopharmaceuticals that improve patient care and accelerate access to precision medicine. Under the supervision of an Authorized Nuclear Pharmacist, the technician ensures that radiopharmaceuticals are prepared, tested, dispensed, packaged, and delivered with accuracy and safety. By carrying out core aseptic, operational, and compliance activities, the technician directly contributes to maintaining BAMF Health’s standards of excellence in both patient outcomes and customer service.

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree or equivalent in a science related field required
  • Active Pharmacy Technician Certification in the State of Michigan required

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • cGMP, GDP, and GLP experience preferred
  • Familiarity with cleanroom processes as they relate to gowning and cleaning preferred
  • Nuclear Pharmacy experience preferred
  • Handling of radionuclides and associated radiation safety preferred

Responsibilities

  • Labelling and dispensing of radiopharmaceuticals under the practice of pharmacy
  • Aseptic activities within ISO 7 and ISO 5 environments
  • Cleaning and preparation
  • Vial assembly
  • Sterility testing
  • Sterile product manipulation
  • Dose drawing and dispensing
  • Coordinate daily dose dispensing and shipping schedules based on patient/customer needs
  • Provide excellent customer experience, communication, and service
  • Manage inventory
  • Perform daily, weekly, and monthly tasks as necessary to meet compliance standards
  • Final drug product packaging, shipping, and quality control testing as needed
  • Demonstrates strong documentation practices, oral communication, and writing skills.
  • Perform clerical and administrative tasks, including assembly and completion of production records, reports, and maintenance records.
