About The Position

The Nuclear Pharmacy Lab & Logistics Technician provides support to the Nuclear Pharmacy by completing various tasks in the Department of Transportation (DOT) area, which will contribute to the timely and accurate delivery of Radiopharmaceuticals from the Nuclear Pharmacy to member hospitals and clinics. This role will report to the Manager of Nuclear Pharmacy

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum one year experience
• Basic math, spelling and grammar skills
• Knowledge of office equipment use, including computers, copy machines, telephones
• Must possess a safe / clean driving record and be accepted by insurance carrier as a company driver
• Must possess a valid Florida driver's license

Responsibilities

• Performs a general daily check of the company vehicle and reports any and all discrepancies, maintenance issues or problems to the Shift Lead or Pharmacist.
• Using a company vehicle, picks up and delivers all items (medical products, radiopharmaceuticals, etc.) to and from any location, (primarily, but not limited to LeeSar locations, medical offices and any other LeeSar customer) on either scheduled routes, or as needed for emergency “stat” situations.
• Reports all unsafe / hazardous conditions, defective equipment, etc., immediately.
• As customer needs change, works with supervisors to update route sequences in an effort to minimize fuel consumption and maximize delivery efficiency.
• When called upon to make an emergency “stat” or unscheduled deliveries, works with supervisors to determine the best method and directions of servicing that request.
• Contributes to and maintains a good professional working rapport with all customers, patients, other team members, and vendors.
• Demonstrates strong written and verbal skills; clearly and professionally communicates with all peers, customers, and leadership.
• Serves as good ambassador for LeeSar with a persona which is formal, professional, courteous, and friendly
