About The Position

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist to support Nuclear Medicine and PET/CT services in a high-volume hospital environment. This role is responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures while ensuring excellence in patient care, radiation safety, and regulatory compliance.

Requirements

Minimum 1 year of clinical experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist in a hospital setting
Graduate of an accredited School of Nuclear Medicine Technology
High School Diploma or equivalent
Valid NJDEP License
ARRT or NMTCB Certification
BLS (American Heart Association)

Nice To Haves

2+ years of Nuclear Medicine experience
CT fusion license

Responsibilities

Operate Nuclear Medicine and PET/CT imaging equipment
Prepare, administer, and document radiopharmaceuticals
Perform radionuclide imaging and functional studies
Assist physicians with therapeutic radioisotope procedures following safety protocols
Prepare radioactive tracer compounds for patient use
Review and validate images using PACS for diagnostic quality and accuracy
Ensure radiation safety for patients, staff, and the environment
Calibrate equipment and assay radionuclides
Receive, store, handle, and dispose of radiopharmaceuticals per NRC and state regulations
Maintain accurate radioactive material usage and disposal records
Ensure contamination-free and compliant workspaces
Rotate assignments as needed, including Cardiology and PET/CT
Perform clerical and documentation tasks using EPIC, Teletracking, Nuclear Medicine Information Systems, and scheduling tools
Greet and assist patients using AIDET communication standards
Deliver patient-centered care tailored to age, culture, language, and special needs
Work assigned shifts, including weekends, holidays, overtime, and on-call as required
Adhere to organizational policies, competencies, attendance, and punctuality standards
