POSITION SUMMARY: Performs imaging procedures with the use of radioactive isotopes. Responsible for preparation, calculations, and administration of isotope products in various diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. Performs under the direction of the physician during therapeutic procedures.

Requirements

  • Completion of an accredited educational program in nuclear medicine or radiologic technology.
  • 1-year radiologic technology diagnostic and/or nuclear medicine experience
  • BLS
  • TDH (MRT), NMTCB
  • Required certifications are to be completed by 3 months of employment.

Responsibilities

  • Performs imaging procedures with the use of radioactive isotopes.
