Requirements

• Previous Nuclear Medicine /CT experience preferred
• Previous experience required for NUC and PET/CT
• PET/CT scanning experience
• Must be detail-oriented and possess precise documentation skills
• Must have the ability to acquire diagnostic images
• High school diploma required
• License(s): ARRT-R; Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist
• Certification(s): CPR

Responsibilities

• Performs nuclear medicine examinations for diagnosis and/or treatment of patients
• Clerical/file room duties, general housekeeping, patient transportation, and miscellaneous departmental functions
• Participates in departmental Performance Improvement activities and equipment Quality Control programs
• Follow ALARA principles and practice radiation safety practices as the job requires.
• works with other departments to ensure the accomplishment of the organization’s goals.
