About The Position

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMT) to perform diagnostic nuclear medicine procedures using radioactive materials to support accurate diagnosis and treatment. This role requires a strong commitment to patient safety, imaging quality, and strict adherence to radiation safety and regulatory standards.

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist
Experience with PET/CT and general nuclear medicine procedures
Strong knowledge of radiopharmaceuticals and radiation safety practices
EMR experience (EPIC preferred)
ARRT (N) or NMTCB certification
Active state licensure (if required)
BLS (AHA) certification

Nice To Haves

Hospital-based nuclear medicine experience
Experience in high-volume or acute-care settings

Responsibilities

Prepare, administer, and document radiopharmaceuticals in accordance with physician orders and safety protocols
Perform nuclear medicine imaging procedures, including PET, SPECT, and gamma camera studies
Operate and maintain nuclear medicine imaging equipment
Verify patient identity and explain procedures before and after examinations
Monitor patients during procedures and respond appropriately to adverse reactions
Ensure compliance with radiation safety standards for patients, staff, and the public
Accurately document procedures and patient information in the EMR ( EPIC preferred )
Collaborate with physicians, radiologists, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
Maintain compliance with all applicable hospital, state, and federal regulations
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives
Perform additional duties within the scope of nuclear medicine practice as assigned
