About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team. This position offers the opportunity to work in both clinical and research environments, contribute to student instruction, and support ongoing development of quality and safety practices.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine program
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Nuclear Medicine required
• Active ARRT (N) or NMTCB (CNMT) certification
• Must hold or be eligible for Vermont Nuclear Medicine Technologist license
• College transcripts must be provided if invited for an interview

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Epic EMR
• PET/CT imaging experience
• Prior work in a Level I Trauma Center
• 1+ year of paid Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience

Responsibilities

• Perform clinical and research nuclear medicine imaging and therapeutic procedures, including general and cardiac studies.
• Operate associated computer systems and imaging technology.
• Instruct and mentor nuclear medicine students and other healthcare personnel.
• Participate in the creation and implementation of departmental policies, procedures, quality standards, and objectives.
• Provide exceptional patient care in alignment with UVM Medical Center’s values and mission.
