About The Position
We are currently seeking a qualified and detail-oriented Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our cardiology team. This role will primarily focus on performing C ardiac SPECT and PET/CT imaging at two of our practice locations. The ideal candidate will be experienced in nuclear cardiology protocols, dedicated to patient safety and care, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, multi-site environment. SIGN ON BONUS $1000
Responsibilities
- Perform C ardiac SPECT and PET/CT studies in accordance with established protocols and safety standards.
- Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals in compliance with radiation safety guidelines and regulatory requirements.
- Operate imaging equipment to acquire high-quality diagnostic images.
- Evaluate imaging results and ensure images are properly archived and transferred for physician interpretation.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in the EMR system.
- Monitor patients during and after procedures, ensuring safety and comfort at all times.
- Perform routine quality control and calibration of imaging equipment.
- Comply with all regulatory requirements (e.g., NRC, state radiation control board, HIPAA).
- Travel between two office locations as scheduled.
- Collaborate with cardiologists, technologists, and clinical staff to ensure efficient workflow and high standards of care.
