About The Position
Clinic Hours: 0730a-1600p On Call: Nights, weekends, holidays
Requirements
- Certification: Must be certified by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) or the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT), RT (N).
- Licensure: Must possess a full and unrestricted license to practice in a U.S. state, territory, or the District of Columbia.
- Knowledge: Expertise in the location, appearance, and function of major and minor systems susceptible to radiological illumination.
- Training: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Responsibilities
- Interpret examination requests accurately and understand the functioning and inter-relationships of various organs.
- Utilize specific methods and techniques to identify organs on digital display monitors or film.
- Evaluate the acceptability of scans for diagnostic use and emphasize areas of interest for the physician.
