About The Position

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a short-term contract assignment in New York, NY. This role is responsible for the daily operation of the Nuclear Medicine Laboratory, delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging services while ensuring compliance with all safety, regulatory, and hospital standards.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist
• ARRT (Nuclear Medicine) or NMTCB Certification (required)
• Post-secondary certification in Computed Tomography (CT)
• New York State Radiologic Technologist License
• BCLS Certification (required)
• Associate Degree required
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain nuclear medicine imaging equipment
• Perform nuclear medicine and PET/CT procedures in accordance with established protocols
• Educate patients and families on procedures, ensuring comfort, safety, and understanding
• Adhere to radiation safety, infection control, and quality assurance standards
• Accurately document procedures, patient data, and imaging results
• Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to support optimal patient care
