About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a 13-week contract assignment. Under general supervision, the technologist will perform routine and specialized diagnostic nuclear medicine procedures while ensuring patient safety, image quality, and compliance with regulatory standards. The role may also include assisting with training and guiding other staff as needed.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program
  • Active New York State license/registration
  • ARRT (Nuclear Medicine) or CNMT certification (or board eligible)
  • CPR certification required
  • Ability to start assignment immediately

Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic nuclear medicine procedures in accordance with established protocols
  • Prepare, measure, and administer radiopharmaceuticals safely and accurately
  • Operate and maintain nuclear medicine imaging equipment
  • Ensure proper patient identification, preparation, and positioning
  • Monitor patients during procedures and respond appropriately to changes in condition
  • Maintain accurate documentation within the electronic medical record
  • Follow radiation safety, infection control, and departmental policies
  • Assist with workflow coordination and provide guidance to other staff when required
