It is the flagship hospital for Corewell Health Grand Rapids Hospitals. Scope of Work Operates nuclear detection and imaging equipment and prepares radiopharmaceuticals for routine nuclear radiologic studies, with the aid of the senior or lead technologist as needed, to produce images for the interpretation by, and at the request of, a licensed practitioner. Provides appropriate patient care and recognizes patient conditions essential for successful completion of the procedure. Completes work in an independent, professional manner with minimal supervision.

Requirements

  • Associate's Degree Nuclear Medicine Technology Required
  • Skills, knowledge, abilities typically gained through less than 2 years of related nuclear medicine experience Required
  • Nuc Med Technologist (N) - ARRT American Registry of Radiologic Technologist Upon Hire required
  • Nuclear Medicine Technologist - NMTCB Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board Upon Hire required
  • AHA or ARC – Basic Life Support CRT (BLS) within 90 days required
