About The Position

The Nuclear Medicine Technologist will support a high-volume cardiology clinic specializing in cardiac imaging and stress testing. The technologist will independently perform daily nuclear medicine procedures while ensuring patient safety, image quality, and compliance with clinical protocols.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited program in Radiologic Technology or Nuclear Medicine
• CNMT certification required upon hire
• ARRT (Nuclear Medicine) accepted as an alternative
• Prior experience working in a nuclear medicine clinic setting
• Ability to independently manage daily responsibilities in a high-volume environment

Nice To Haves

• Strong background in cardiology and nuclear stress testing
• Experience with PET/CT cardiac stress imaging
• Comfortable floating between clinic locations within a reasonable radius

Responsibilities

• Perform cardiac nuclear stress testing and related imaging procedures
• Conduct approximately: 8–10 nuclear stress tests per day
• 5 PET/CT stress tests per day
• Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals per protocol
• Operate nuclear imaging and PET/CT equipment efficiently and safely
• Monitor patients throughout procedures and respond appropriately to clinical needs
• Ensure adherence to radiation safety standards and regulatory requirements
• Maintain accurate documentation and workflow efficiency in a busy outpatient clinic
• Support coverage at nearby affiliated clinic locations as needed during the contract
