Nuclear Medicine Technologist - Full Time - Day Flex - Weill Cornell Join the diverse and close-knit Nuclear Medicine team at NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell. Here, you will work with dynamic colleagues and in an in-patient and out-patient population. You'll be immersed in a full spectrum of diagnostic and therapeutic care while assisting with the evaluation of a wide range of medical conditions, from thyroid disorders to hypertension, heart disease, and pulmonary disorders. As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, we’ll depend on you to handle, administer and dispose of sensitive radiopharmaceuticals. You’ll perform quality control and follow aseptic technique standards to ensure patient and colleague safety. You'll be responsible for using imaging equipment to acquire, process, and export a wide range of diagnostic studies. You’ll obtain and distribute medical records as needed, while collaborating with leading radiology physicians to provide integrated and expert evaluation of each patient. This is a full-time day flex position located at our NYP/Weill Cornell site. The shift will be: - Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays: 8:00am-6:00pm - Tuesdays: 8:00am-5:30pm - Wednesdays: Off Shift may be subject to change a bit depending on departmental needs.

Requirements

  • New York State Nuclear Medicine License from the Department of Health
  • Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) or American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)

Nice To Haves

  • Graduate of an approved Nuclear Medicine Technology Program
  • CT post primary certification (ARRT(CT) or NMTCB(CT))
  • Dual primary licensed technologist certified as Radiographer and Nuclear Medicine Technologist
  • Prior experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist
  • Prior experience working with GE & Siemens equipment

Responsibilities
