About The Position
Baptist Health is looking to add a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to our Nuclear Medicine department at Baptist Beaches, located in Jacksonville Beach, FL. This is a Full-time, day shift opportunity working Monday - Friday, 7:30 am - 4:00 pm. This Nuclear Medicine Technologist will be responsible for providing patients with radioactive medication and operating imaging technology to track the radiation within the patient's body. Their duties include sterilizing syringes, preparing patients for a scan, and processing image reports that indicate the presence of disease. Requirements
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Required
- Registered Technologist in Nuclear Medicine ARRT (N) Required
- Certified Nuclear Medical Technologist (CNMT) Required Or
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Certification (CPR) Required
- Licensed Nuclear Medical Technologist Required
- Vocational School

- Knowledge of Federal and State Regulations
- Experience working in a hospital setting
Responsibilities
- Performing high-quality diagnostic procedures.
- Knowledge of the State of (and adherence to) Florida rules and regulations regarding Radiation Control/Radioactive Materials.
- Protecting patients, self, and others from unnecessary/excessive radiation exposure.
- Complying with mandatory education and health requirements.
