About The Position
Reporting to the Section Leader of Nuclear Medicine, provides direct care to patients undergoing nuclear medicine procedures.
Requirements
- Associates degree in Science or certificate degree in Nuclear Medicine from an accredited school required.
- Minimum of one year experience in Nuclear Medicine preferred.
- Current licensure as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts required.
- BLS healthcare provider required.
- Current registration as R.T.(N)(ARRT) or CNMT required within 1 year of hire. Employees hired prior to January 1, 2009 are grandfathered from this requirement.
- Must have knowledge of state radiation guidelines necessary to function within a Nuclear Medicine department.
- Must have IV skills and proficiency.
- Must be computer proficient, including PACS and HIS/RIS.
- Ability to maintain confidential information required.
Nice To Haves
- Minimum of one year experience in Nuclear Medicine preferred.
