About The Position

The Nuclear Medicine Technologist is an excellent opportunity at MultiCare, responsible for performing PET/CT and nuclear medicine procedures and maintaining departmental standards. Requirements

  • BA or BS degree in science of health care field preferred
  • CMNT (NMTCB), ARRT (N) or equivalent or/ registry eligible and exam taken within one year of employment
  • Certified with the State of Washington Department of Health
  • Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (CT) preferred
  • Previous knowledge of and/or experience in computerized tomography desirable

Responsibilities

  • You will perform on-call tasks, when necessary, as well as a wide range of Nuclear Medicine procedures
  • You will administer diagnostic and therapeutic radiopharmaceuticals in accordance with department policies and procedures
  • You will perform venipuncture and IV placement
  • You will be able to work independently and unsupervised
  • You will perform quality control procedures, as required for all equipment, and become familiar with the film filing system
