Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program
- Must meet ONE of the following: CNMT certification (NMTCB) ARRT (N) – Nuclear Medicine
- Must meet ALL of the following: Current Florida Nuclear Medicine Technologist License Current BLS/Healthcare Provider certification
- No prior experience required
- Knowledge of nuclear medicine equipment, imaging procedures, and radiation safety is required
Responsibilities
- Preparing and administering radiopharmaceuticals for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes
- Performing nuclear medicine, PET, SPECT, and SPECT/CT procedures
- Processing, enhancing, and preparing images for physician interpretation
- Completing all computer acquisition, processing, and documentation
- Participating in radiopharmacy duties
- Ensuring compliance with Florida Department of Health, Radiation Control
- Performing venipuncture and evaluating IV access
- Supporting the corporate ALARA Radiation Safety Program
- Maintaining safety, quality standards, and consistent attendance
- You may also perform CT imaging in accordance with guidelines or physician orders.
