About The Position
We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures under general supervision. This role includes operating specialized imaging equipment, ensuring high-quality diagnostic results, and supporting patient care in a clinical setting. The technologist may also assist in training and guiding other staff members.
Requirements
- Active New York State license/registration as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist
- ARRT (Nuclear Medicine) or CNMT certification (or board eligible)
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Strong technical and patient care skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Nice To Haves
- Experience with nuclear medicine imaging systems (e.g., Siemens or equivalent) preferred
Responsibilities
- Perform routine nuclear medicine diagnostic procedures
- Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals as prescribed
- Operate imaging equipment and ensure accurate image acquisition
- Monitor patient condition during procedures and ensure safety
- Maintain accurate documentation and patient records
- Follow radiation safety and infection control protocols
- Assist in training and mentoring staff when required
- Ensure proper maintenance and operation of imaging equipment
