About The Position

The Nuclear Medicine Technologist in Tysons performs a variety of technical procedures, administering radio-pharmaceuticals for the purpose of detecting pathology, evaluating function, or as a means of therapy.

Requirements

• Associate's degree in radiography or graduate of an accredited certificate program for radiography.
• One year of experience in nuclear medicine is preferred.
• Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (Nuclear) or NMTCB required.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform technical procedures in nuclear medicine.
• Administer radio-pharmaceuticals for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes.
• Detect pathology and evaluate function using nuclear medicine techniques.
