Requirements

• Graduate of a two year nuclear medicine technology program accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Nuclear Medicine, or a graduate of a one year nuclear medicine technology training program preceded by graduation from a Bachelor's Degree program at an accredited college or university.
• Must maintain registration with the Nuclear Medicine Technologist's Certification Board or American Registry of Radiologic Technologists or provide proof of eligibility to become registered.

Responsibilities

• Perform technical procedures that require utilization of radionuclides for the diagnosis and treatment of disease.
• Provide patient services, neonatal through geriatric, using imaging modalities in an efficient professional manner and with sensitivity to patient needs.
• Accurately document, file, and maintain patient records.
• Schedule exams and respond to patient/physician questions.
• Perform other various duties pertaining to the Department of Diagnostic Imaging.
