About The Position

The Nuclear Medicine Technologist is an excellent opportunity at MultiCare, responsible for performing PET/CT and nuclear medicine procedures and maintaining departmental standards. In this role, you will ensure the most comprehensive and compassionate imaging care for patients.

Requirements

  • BA or BS degree in science of health care field preferred.
  • CMNT (NMTCB), ARRT (N) or equivalent or registry eligible and exam taken within one year of employment.
  • Certified with the State of Washington Department of Health.
  • Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (CT) preferred.
  • Previous knowledge of and/or experience in computerized tomography desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Perform on-call tasks, when necessary, as well as a wide range of Nuclear Medicine procedures.
  • Administer diagnostic and therapeutic radiopharmaceuticals in accordance with department policies and procedures.
  • Perform venipuncture and IV placement.
  • Work independently and unsupervised.
  • Perform quality control procedures, as required for all equipment, and become familiar with the film filing system.
