About The Position

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMT) to join a busy outpatient cardiology clinic. The technologist will be responsible for performing nuclear stress tests, PET/CT stress tests, and routine nuclear medicine imaging procedures while ensuring accurate diagnostic results and excellent patient care in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology or Nuclear Medicine program
• CNMT (Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist) certification required ; ARRT accepted
• Minimum 1 year of experience in an outpatient nuclear medicine or cardiology clinic setting.
• Experience performing nuclear stress testing and PET/CT imaging
• Strong technical skills, patient care abilities, and effective communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform nuclear medicine procedures including 8–10 nuclear stress tests and approximately 5 PET/CT stress tests per day
• Prepare and position patients for nuclear medicine imaging according to cardiology protocols.
• Ensure high-quality image acquisition and maintain strict quality control standards.
• Support daily clinic workflow and assist with patient scheduling and coordination.
• Maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot nuclear medicine equipment and radiopharmaceuticals.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and clinical staff to deliver efficient patient care.
• Follow all clinic policies, safety standards, radiation safety guidelines, and infection control procedures.
