About The Position

The Nuclear Medicine Technologist I position at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSK) offers an exciting opportunity to join the growing team in the Molecular Imaging & Therapy Service (MITS) within Radiology. This role is crucial in providing high-quality nuclear medicine and PET procedures to patients of all age groups. Under the direct supervision of the Imaging Supervisor, the technologist will perform a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the process. The position requires a strong commitment to patient care, as well as the ability to work collaboratively within a team of healthcare professionals. As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will be responsible for preparing and administering radiopharmaceuticals, operating imaging equipment, and ensuring the accuracy of imaging results. You will also be involved in maintaining equipment and adhering to safety protocols to protect both patients and staff. The role demands a high level of attention to detail and the ability to communicate effectively with patients and colleagues. Additionally, the technologist will be expected to stay updated with the latest advancements in nuclear medicine technology and participate in ongoing training and professional development. The position is based at the Schwartz Building at MSK's Main Hospital Campus, with a schedule primarily consisting of four office days from Monday to Friday, typically from 10 am to 8 pm, with some flexibility required for rotating Saturdays. This role not only offers a competitive pay range of $45.29 to $72.42 per hour but also includes a $10,000 bonus for new hires, making it an attractive opportunity for qualified candidates.
