Founded in 2007, The Oncology Institute (NASDAQ: TOI) is advancing oncology by delivering highly specialized, value-based cancer care in the community setting. TOI offers cutting-edge, evidence-based cancer care to a population of approximately 1.9 million patients, including clinical trials, transfusions, and other care delivery models traditionally associated with the most advanced care delivery organizations. With over 180 employed and affiliate clinicians and over 100 clinics and affiliate locations of care across five states and growing, TOI is changing oncology for the better. At The Oncology Institute, your expertise in nuclear medicine directly shapes life-changing cancer care. You’ll work at the intersection of advanced imaging, precision diagnostics, and compassionate patient support—where every scan matters and every patient is treated as a person, not a case. We offer a collaborative, physician-led environment that values accuracy, safety, and clinical excellence, while also recognizing the emotional intelligence required to care for oncology patients. Here, your technical skill is respected, your judgment is trusted, and your growth is supported. JOB PURPOSE AND SUMMARY: The Nuclear Medicine Technologist plays a critical role in supporting physicians by performing diagnostic imaging procedures to assess organ function and detect potential abnormalities. This includes conducting body and organ scans using radiopharmaceuticals and ensuring accurate administration and documentation of isotope dosages in line with established protocols. The technologist closely monitors patients throughout the procedure, promptly identifying and reporting any irregularities or adverse reactions to ensure patient safety and the highest quality of care.
