About The Position

Join our accomplished team of Diagnostic Imaging Professionals at St. Joseph's Medical Center in Brainerd, MN. St. Josephs Medical Center is a 162-bed hospital and Level III Trauma Center with a 24-hour emergency room. We take pride in bringing a wide range of services to residents and visitors of the Brainerd, Minnesota area. St. Joseph’s is home to the Marilyn Covey Heart & Vascular Center and the St. Joseph’s Cancer Center. You’ll find us next to the Mississippi River in a setting that promotes good health and healing. In this role you will get too: Provides health care services using radionuclides to assist in diagnosis or treatment of a patient. Performs nuclear medicine, PET and CT exams/procedures and related techniques. Is responsible for the independent operation of nuclear medicine equipment and for providing high quality diagnostic images to the radiologist and referring physicians.

Requirements

• Graduate of a Committee of Allied Health Education and Accreditation (CAHEA), accredited nuclear medicine program.
• Current American Registry of Radiographic Technologists Nuclear Medicine (ARRT)(NM) or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) licensure.
• If North Dakota, must have current license on North Dakota Medical Imaging & Radiation Therapy Board of Examiners (NDMIRT) upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Provides health care services using radionuclides to assist in diagnosis or treatment of a patient.
• Performs nuclear medicine, PET and CT exams/procedures and related techniques.
• Is responsible for the independent operation of nuclear medicine equipment.
• Provides high quality diagnostic images to the radiologist and referring physicians.
